Joanna Michaels is a New Jersey native and Florida transplant. She writes novels, flash fiction/memoir, short stories, and an occasional poem. She is the author of the lesbian mystery novel Nun in the Closet, and has published stories in CafeLit, Bright Flash, Fine Lines, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and others. She is a graduate of the MFA program at Queens University of Charlotte, and is a member of the Florida Writers Association.
